"Tratar de entender algunos rasgos de la identidad argentina no es fácil. Hoy la Argentina se forja, transcurre y deambula, trágicamente. Y allí, en medio, uno, la cámara fotográfica, un presentimiento y la necesidad de detener algunas cosas para entenderlas –ciertos iconos que se repiten por generaciones–: la madre tierra, el trabajo, el campo, el macho, el hambre, la educación, el deseo, los sueños y la eterna pobreza. Pero, también allí en el medio, el yacaré.
Todo ese vértigo y esa búsqueda quieren estar presentes en estas fotografías".

"To understand the reality of Argentina today is almost impossible. Argentina is now being forged, is taking place and wandering tragically. And there, in the middle, oneself, the camera, the intuition and the need to freeze some moments in order to understand them (icons repeated over the course of generations): Mother Earth, work, the countryside, hunger, education, desire, dreams and eternal poverty. There, in the middle, is also the alligator.
